Crime Watch Alert: July 10, 2019

The Crafton Police Department responded to a S. Emily St. address on July 4, 2019 for a disturbance call in which the resident was stabbed. The victim sustained a wound to his chin and some bruising to his torso area during the fight. This incident was believed to have been a targeted attack on the victim based upon victim statements. Crafton residents should not be fearful that this was a random attack. Crafton officers were assisted by several other agencies in searching for the suspect but they were unable to locate the suspect. The Allegheny County Police Department is handling the investigation with assistance from the Crafton Police Department. The suspect was described as a white male that is 5'08" and overweight. The male was wearing blue jeans and a black shirt.
