CRIME WATCH REPORT: JULY 2019
Area 1- Coordinator- Katie Fazio
7-28-19. A parked vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle on Hawthorne Ave.
Area 2 – Coordinator-Sandy Gibson
7-31-19. A vehicle on Oregon Ave. sustained damage to the windshield caused by an unknown source.
Area 3– Coordinator- Diane McQuaide
Area 4- Coordinator- Amy Buchman (acting)
7-04-19. A male was stabbed during an altercation on S. Emily St. This incident is not believed to a random act. Allegheny County PD is handling the investigation.
Area 5- Coordinator- Mary Fleming
7-18-19. 3 vehicles on Mueller St. was spray painted overnight. City PD handled several calls on Rydal St. for the same type of incident.
Area 6- Coordinator- Bill & Janet Finlay Jr.
7-08-19. It was reported that someone attempted to break into the building at Crafton Pool over the weekend and that a lifeguard chair was thrown into the deep-end of the pool. Entry was believed to have been made by climbing over the fence.
7-22-19. A phone was reported stolen from the Crafton Pool. The theft occurred a few days prior to the report being filed.
Lock your vehicles and homes. This goes for your windows as well. Keep your valuables out of sight.
